‘Enchantment’, the new Samuel Tweed collection of luxury mohair fabrics for A/W 2016/17 will be launched at Premiere Vision 13th to 15th September 2016. The collection consists of fabrics that have a feel of fantasy and extravagance. Beautifully designed with seductive colour and weave combinations, the fabrics give an esoteric feeling of something magical, charming and emotive.
Fabrics in weights ranging from 250 to 650grm are presented in an innovative array of qualities, designs, colours and finishes. A piece dyed range of classic and fashion colours, and a comprehensive selection of tartan checks, are available from stock.
In a collection where richness is fundamental, detail is key and scale is pushed to the extreme, the highlights include:
Piece Dyed Plains which affirm the collection’s personality.
Semi Plains on a white base, brushed to give a subtle colourful richness.
Gradated Herringbones emerging from a melange base and in contrasting black and white.
Textural Stripes in graphic and bright colouring to suggest movement.
Colour and Weave effects, bold and expressive, and softened and blurred.
Tartans are traditionally coloured and boldly enlarged in scale.
Madras Checks with blurry finish and high contrast colours.
